BeaOrganized – Clear Stamps Storage

My card making endeavors began with rubber stamping. Although my style has evolved to include many other techniques and tools, I still utilize rubber stamps on a near-daily basis. Traditional wood-mounted rubber stamps take up lots of space, and are difficult to store. Clear stamps have solved that problem for the most part. Clear stamps adhere to acrylic blocks making it only necessary to have a few different sized blocks on hand, with as many clear stamp sets as you can imagine!

Clear stamps are somewhat easier to store. I can’t take all the credit for this storage solution. I read an article with a similar premise, I have just modified it to fit my style and stamp stock. My brother was an avid collector of sports cards; baseball, basketball players, you name it he had them. He used to keep them in clear, vinyl sleeves with slots for each card. These same sleeves work perfectly for storing clear stamps! The small clear stamp sets from Studio G, sold at Michaels Arts and Crafts, slide perfectly into the small slots as seen in the picture below.

Grab some vinyl sleeves at any hobby shop, fill them up with your clear stamps, and snap them into a 3” binder. You will find a space efficient solution for storing your stamps that makes it really easy to browse and see what you have. Do you have tons of clear stamps? Consider grouping them by category (flowers, sentiments, etc.) and creating a binder for each! Good luck with your storage solutions, and thanks for reading today!
